BLEMISH REMOVAL
SAY GOODBYE to blemishes
Using an advanced electrolysis method, we can easily treat a wide range of unwanted blemishes. We use two best-in-industry devices and varied techniques depending on the blemish being treated. Advanced electrolysis is a common aesthetic procedure for anyone who wants to permanently remove blemishes.

Advanced Electrolysis is used to remove or reduce a range of skin blemishes on the face and body such as skin tags, milia, blood spots, thread veins, warts, and spider veins. Advanced electrolysis is a safe and effective form of skin blemish reduction, and is non-surgical and non-invasive.
The treatment involves using a pen like device with a very fine, sterile probe (needle) that is placed beside, on or into the blemish and applying a tiny amount of electric current. The device emits either short wave diathermy or a low radio frequency current for fast, effective and comfortable treatment. The blemish is then either fully removed on the day or will disperse naturally over a short period..

In most cases, only 1-3 treatments may be needed to achieve results, but results do vary and are individual.
NON-INVASIVE & NON-SURGICAL
The treatment is non-surgical and non-invasive, therefore has little to no downtime.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Our experienced advanced electrologist will discuss the various treatment options available. They will also discuss the expected results with you. A thorough consultation will be carried out to make sure that the treatment is right for you. Once you fully understand the treatment procedure and all safety measures and aftercare requirements, we will arrange an appointment.

During the treatment, your electrologist will use a tiny, precisely-honed current of energy on the area to be treated and the energy is then passed into this part of the skin. This ‘dries up’ or seals the vessels that feed into the blemish, effectively cauterising the blemish and enabling it to be removed without surgery and with minimal discomfort. With warts, this current of energy works to sterilise the virus that causes the infection, causing the wart to scab and drop off after a few weeks.

A topical aesthetic can be applied prior to treatment if needed and your advanced electrologist will be patient and supportive throughout your treatment to ensure that you are as comfortable and relaxed as possible. The majority of blemishes only need one treatment. However, some blemishes such as warts and veins may need further sessions.
HOW TO PREPARE
Attend your appointment with clean skin completely free of any makeup, products, perfumes or aftershave. Avoid exposing the area to direct sun for 2 weeks prior to your appointment and always protect your skin with SPF 30 or higher after treatment. Make sure that the skin is completely clear of fake tan prior to your appointment.
AFTERCARE
Calamine powder or Aloe Vera, followed by SPF 30 or higher, will be applied to the skin immediately after treatment. There may be some mild redness and swelling at the treatment area which could last up to two hours. There may be a little scabbing in the treatment area after 48 hours. The appearance of the area after treatments varies depending on the blemish being treated and will be discussed with you at the consultation. Keep the area clean and dry for 48 hours and apply calamine powder or Aloe Vera gel to relieve any sensation of heat or itching. Avoid restrictive clothing that might irritate the area, and avoid swimming, saunas, hot baths or hot showers for 48 hours. Use SPF 30 or higher daily.
